"Encountering Jesus through Praise and Worship" - Diocesan Day of Enrichment - November 4, 2023

Encountering Jesus through Praise and Worship Event

Amongst the busyness of our daily schedules, you are invited to take time for a day of enrichment, renewal, and inspiration centered on Jesus and the Eucharist at the Encountering Jesus through Praise and Worship event on Saturday, November 4, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  Join us at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish for Mass, inspirational talks, and music. Erin Looby Carlson will emcee the event which includes Fr. Joe Krupp, Tony Alonso, and Bishop Robert Gruss.

Fr. Krupp is the Pastor of Church of the Holy Family in Grand Blanc, Michigan and he writes the “In the Know with Fr. Joe” column for each issue of Great Lakes Bay Catholic magazine and is very popular on social media with his Talked to the Boss reflections and Quantum Catechesis.  Tony Alonso is a Cuban American Roman Catholic who is a Latin Grammy-nominated composer of sacred music and the Aquinas Assistant Professor of Theology at Emory University whose music you will surely recognize. Bishop Gruss is the seventh bishop of the Diocese of Saginaw and was installed on July 26, 2019, after previously serving as Bishop of the Diocese of Rapid City, South Dakota where he was consecrated on July 28, 2011. Erin Looby Carlson is an Emmy award winning journalist, a Gabriel award recipient, the former editor of Great Lakes Bay Catholic magazine for more than a decade and currently serves as the writer/editor for Little Books of the Diocese of Saginaw.
